As long as you have no qualms about playing a game that looks like QUAKE II's prototype, buy this game. But maybe avoid the multiplayer DUSKWORLD for now; it's a bugfest. The air/water flipping is a lovely touch, though it can sometimes be finicky, and thankfully Proton has no issue playing the game without any configuration on Linux. Smooth 144FPS no problem

It's not perfect, but calling it "the best game of 2016" isn't a much of a stretch. Perhaps you harken back to ye olden days of gaming; perhaps you like finding overpowered combinations of game mechanics (hint: fully upgraded chaingun mobile turret + Rich Get Richer); perhaps you like badass soundtracks; perhaps you are angry. No mater the reason, DOOM is worth your time, your money, and your soul.

Absolutely phenomenal. From well-made scripts (with the typical minor, meaningless bugs) to professional voice acting, this mod provides Portal 2 with the twist it deserved since its inception. I could say more, but it'd be smarted to leave you finding out just how amazing this is for yourself!
