The movement, movesets and flow of combat feel a lot like SC2, except for Reversal Edge, Critical Edge and meter moves. 3D movement system (8-Way Run) is like if Tekken was cleaned of all the mud...
I think Reversal Edge slows the flow down too much, and is really the strongest defensive option, although the rock-paper-scissors-lizard-spock minigame afterwards might make you use it less.
There's easy characters for the new players and tough ones for the veterans. The DLC characters seem to be really great thus far! Also, Geralt as the guest character is perfect!
On the negative side of things, online matches are either great or horrendous. I've played a fair bit of matches that literally ran at half speed because some dimwit was probably playing on their neighbour's WiFI...
Hopefully patches will add an online tournament mode and finally add button mapping into character select for local tournaments.

An excellent skill-based competitive physics game where you control a battlecar in a football match. A brilliant idea that is hard to understand without having played the game.

Even though I am not a fan of racing games nor soccer games, this particular experience is always enjoyable and leaves me wanting more. And you can always get better by playing and practicing.

The developers continue to work on the game. The pro scene and creative community are great to follow.

Spiral Knights is my favorite game, again. And this is my updated review.


You play as a knight. You explore the unknown. You do missions. You get crowns. You craft gear. You perfect your character.

This game is bloody brilliant! They took away the elevator energy cost a long time ago. OOO (Three Rings) also added lots of new content. Sprites that accompany you into battle. Rarities that make it easier than before to craft powerful weapons and armor.

I am so completely addicted. And the community is just great. Everyone is warm and welcoming! Join a guild and have fun.

And what really brings the game together is the strong combat system. It feels like you really swing a sword or fire a gun. The game is super responsive. Also great with friends.

Let yourself be immersed in the fantastic world and atmosphere. Just hearing the main musical theme again brings feelings of nostalgia and pure happiness.


I totally, completely and utterly suggest you try this game out. It's free to play so what have you got to lose?

P.S There are lots of special events that happen on holidays and other times of the year with rare rewards and lots of fun.
