If you think you might be interested, it's worth it. I haven't finished the game yet and it has already given me everything I've ever wanted. The non-euclidean geometry is really fun to explore. Strong 'antichamber' vibes, very similar aesthetic, but of course with different content. If you liked antichamber, 100% you will like this game.

Amazing. I got this from Humble Monthly, installed it, and in one sitting completed the main story. Now it's 3 in the morning and I'm writing a review. The main story is indeed 3 hours long, but it held my attention by being so fun to play and look at that it passed by way too fast! I haven't gotten to try the other 2 stories yet, but I can say a few things about the game, and from now on, I'll be referencing the main story.

The good:
- Movement: it's amazing. There's so many ways to get around, it feels so fluid to get from place to place, and the best part: Moving around is FUN! If I can have fun just getting from place to place, it's a game I'll enjoy. I've seen a couple reviews saying that the movement doesn't do what you want it to do, but I just don't see that in this game. Everything is spot on. Whenever the character did something wrong, it was always my fault, not the game.
- Combat: It goes hand in hand with movement. I've never felt like I had so much control over the way I fight since I first played Chivalry a couple years back. It feels so good taking people out with fluid precision, and whenever I die, I'm not mad in the slightest! That just means I can kill them all over again!
- Characters and story: Some reviews said the story was crap, but I have to disagree. You start without knowing who the character is, and you come out knowing what he's done. I think the best part for me was that the main protagonist said everything I think I'd say in that situation, and it really made the game immersive. In the story you fight for a clear cause, and it's nice how simple it is.
- Levels: I didn't even notice the invisible walls until halfway through, and they aren't a bad thing. The level design is so, so good, that most of the time you won't encounter an invisible wall. Many levels, especially the early ones, feel so big, like they have a whole world past what you can see, but you don't feel compelled to explore. The gameplay is so fun that even though you could be looking around, you'd rather be kicking people's heads.
Another thing about the levels, they switch between fighting dudes and parkour. Some reviewers said they don't like the parkour sections, and again, I wholeheartedly disagree. The parkour sections are the perfect compliment to the astounding movement mechanics. Although it's just jump here, look for the scratch marks to figure out where you should jump next, and repeat, I still feel a sense of challenge. Will I be able to do it on my first try this time? How fast can I do it? It's even more fun turning it into a contest for yourself.
Graphics: Oh yeah, though the graphics aren't the best 2018 realistic graphics (TM), they're certainly nothing cringe worthy. Most graphics in this game graded on a scale would score a "decent" or higher. Basically, there's no point where the graphics take AWAY from the experience of the game, in fact I think it GAVE something back.

The bad:
- Combat: Specifically the one OP move: the head kick move. Everyone who plays this will know what I mean. You jump and attack above a player, you kick them in the head and go flying in a direction. It's effective against everything, to the point where you feel bad using it. I ended up trying not to use it until I got frustrated with an enemy. There are specific levels that discourage this move, but you can still find a way to boing their noggins.
- Characters and story: The story, though compelling, introduces a ton of characters with a ton of names all the time. I couldn't keep track of them all! The way this is written and played out feels like the lore was written separately as a book, and this is an adaptation of it. In between levels, there's a quote from some character saying something that's sometimes mildly relevant, and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to know who the quote is attributed to or what it's referencing. The best way to enjoy this story is by imagining you picked up the second book in a series and started reading on page 12.
- Price: $30? ouch. I'm probably hypersensitised to price since I always go for games in sales and I never buy at full price, but $30 seems very steep for a game of this scope. Sorry dev, I know this took 9 years to make, I know the price tag is more than justified, but ignoring what was put in to make the game, the content barely justifies the price tag. I would never ever have played this game if it weren't for Humble Monthly. THAT BEING SAID, if you're fine for putting down $30 for the game I just described, do not let this last point dissuade you! This game is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, and if you can more than afford the price tag, PLEASE buy this game to check it out yourself!

All in all a game with fantastic mechanics, great implementation, and a good motivation. Yes, it could be longer, but I haven't played the other 2 stories yet, so I might be missing out on hours more content! This was probably my best and only thought out review ever, so if any review reviewers could review my review, that'd be rev- great!

When I was young, (younger, anyway), I found n on a site and loved it. When n+ came out, I got it for the DS. Now, like 8 years later or something, one of my "childhood games" is on Steam. As soon as I saw it I bought it.

tl;dr
This game FEELS like it's in early access, and is just barely worth 2 bucks, but only if that isn't much to you.


PROS
  • Looks kinda like Minecraft
  • Guns

CONS
  • Glitches can occur
  • No block breaking sound along with the large amount of smoke created when mining make it hard to see when you actually broke the block you were mining
  • No feedback when hitting an enemy. Did you miss? Are you not close enough to knife him? YOU DON'T KNOW AND CAN'T TELL.
  • Not enough options. The smoke I mentioned? That can't be disabled. a whole lot of other things could and should be options but aren't.
  • It doesn't feel like a finished game. It feels like an early alpha.

This game, with its abundant imperfections, feels like it's incomplete. There's so much more that needs to be done to make this an actual game. I DO think it's fun ( I havn't played THAT much ), but not very fun.

I'm going to recommend this game for how cheap it is, as there aren't that many cheap Steam games. It's worth the 2 dollars, but I don't know how much more you can get out of it :/

Btw, devs, if you are reading this, please make the enemies make a sound when you hit them, or turn red, or something? And add a mining smoke boolean option? KTHXBYE

Short review for a simple game.

This game is about thinking ahead, and efficiently transporting people from point square to point triangle. It's fun for its simplicity, and how much you can get out of it.
I was unsure when I bought it if it was worth the money, but I am certain now it is!

PROS:
Good gameplay
Simple tutorial
Simple gameplay manages to be really fun
Suprising amount of gameplay if you like it enough
Real nice on the eyes
Night mode is always great

CONS:
No audio -- yet

... I just turn on an ambiant radio station and chill out :J

All in all the gameplay outweighs the lack of audio feedback/ambiance, and leaves you with a great game for a good time.

Flew half a second before taking myself out with my own bombs.
10/10 would bomb myself again.

But really,
This game = amazing. It has awesome music, awesome visuals, and is EXTREMELY FUN! (Mostly with a controller)
If they make online multiplayer a thing, then the game will get 5 times better for people like me who have no friends to play with!!
Luckily the cold-hearted murder of an AI rocket is enough to keep me entertained until then.
