FTL IF IT WAS A BASEBUILDER: I was really hesitant to buy this game, but im actually really glad I did!!! Love the concept of this game so much and it has so much potential (if the developers dont F*** it up!). The marketing tries to compare it to Rimworld, but Space Haven really felt almost like Base Builder crossed with FTL. I think there is still a lot of work to be done however, as i would love to see more variety of interactive crew options (gyms! watch out for space fatigue). the gameplay is surprisingly deep, and thre is always more than meets the eye with the systems. on higher difficulties i really enjoy the challenge as my ship constantly feels like its on the verge of falling apart.

PLEASE GIVE US WINDOWS!!! I WANT MY CREW TO BE ABLE TO SEE OUTSIDE!!!

I hate to sound like a little baby, but more comsetic options for ship exteriors in general.

This is the most in-depth medieval simulator you will ever play. nearly a decade since i originally purchased and my mind is still often lost in the world of caldradia. beyond even that, the mods that this game has at its disposal allow it to open up to a wide range of scenario's, character's, and locales. worth any price,so if you see it on sale you simply must grab

Any critical assessment of RimWorld will invariably draw comparison to its older brother, Dwarf Fortress. Rather than merely being a sci fi spin on DF, however, RimWorld presents a clever and far more personal subversion of the whole "World base builder story generator rougelike" whatever the hell its called. The control you have over your characters the alluring art style and soundtrack, endless mod support. The list goes on and on, and i'm sure i could name countless aspects of Rimworld that make it so "Good". In the end, how fun RimWorld can be is entirely up to how well the player can use their own imagination. You can treat it as a Basebuilder, sure, but the eye-rolling Ludeon studios tag line of "Story-Generator" really exists for the lack of a better word. RimWorld truly creates stories, and I promise you will be surprised at how attached you can get to your simple pawns on a screen.

Plays like the best Gmod game mode that never existed. for all of its faults (of which, there are admittedly many), no early access game has shown this much promise. been playing in some form since 2015 and still loving every second. Whether or not you will like Subrosa is only a measure of how much fun you're able to make for yourself. If you can balance thoughtful roleplay with not taking it too seriously, you will be laughing like crazy, and getting tense and nervous on your way to deals.

I dont know why i bought this game, was it the initial interest in something "silly"? Perhaps, regardless i bought it, half off during the steam sale. i could spend a long time as to why this game is a waste of money, but i wont. its not my descision if you buy this game.

Aye, you will get your 30 minutes of silly laughs because "XD GOAT MAYMAY" but after that? theres nothing, nothing redeemable as the game relies upon more "MayMees" to keep the character interested. One of the games main selling points? the fact that the game is horribly unfinished. thats right, the appeal is that the game is "buggy and glitchy because its funny". Now, maybe im taking it too seriously, i probably am. but that would require the game being funny at all. which it isnt. its not, its the bottom of the barrel, ♥♥♥♥ spreading, shrek meming, cesspool of what would i would consider almost less funny than a carlos mencia joke.

If thats the kind of game youre looking for? fine.
