I played a lot of Monster Hunter Worlds on multiple different systems and loved it. This game gives me that same sense of joy in its current state. Many complain about performance but obviously some of it has been fixed. I am on a 4070 (not a 50 series like most dislikes) and I am running everything on ultra settings at 100 fps 99 percent of the time. All the new systems in the latest update really help end game, and on top of that in their road map they showed 2 more major performance improvement updates in January, and Febuary before they focus on making the DLC. I know this game has mixed reviews atm but if you have a decent rig give it a shot, and if not then wait a month and join me in the hunt.

Just making this review to say I think people should be a little more supportive with the devs here. People keep arguing over what is broken, and how modders shouldnt have to do anything. Well I am just here to say that after not playing the main build in a long time and just playing modded total conversion campaigns I have to say that I am amazed at how much they have added not only to the basegame, but also with this dlc. Sure it seems simple at first, only 20 ships, a few new mechanics, and a more dynamic map. However all those ships have a bunch of upgrades, and can look very different depending on banner colors and the upgrades you choose. The ships also cost a bunch and it makes them feel worth it when you finally have a large ship to ram enemies with. Any side can win a battle at sea, it is a totally new strategy. I also like the feel of the new faction, and the intro story tutorial for ship combat felt like real missions for a bit and honestly was more detailed than I am used to for the open bannerlord campaign. The new stealth mechanic is surprisingly fun to me and finally gives a better way to upgrade your rougery and gives a reason to look for lower tier loot for stealth. It makes bandit hideouts and prison breaks feel more dynamic than just "charge" and has a more full rpg feel. Overall I feel like the world is coming together a lot better now and the team is updating it constantly, I cant wait to see what they add to this and I beyond cant wait for the amazing mods people will be able to make with all the new tools at their disposal.

Overall: If you like vikings, or any type of ship combat in games, hell yeah go for it :D

Great game full of many different experiences to compliment everyone's taste, and if not then you can always make a new gamemode.

This game is amazing if you dont belive me then watch a youtube video on it just keep in mind some videos will not even have half the stuff in the game because this game has a great developer that updates alot
