How to do a cross-platform shooter correctly. Cross-progression means I can play on my PS5 and my PC. The gunplay and destruction are nostalgia bait from the Bad Company days of yore. Absolutely love every second I play.

I'm so disappointed by Party Animals. I had hoped to be able to play local couch co-op last night but the implementation of this feature is an absolute afterthought at best. I had controllers all controlling player one, with no real understanding as to why - not had this problem in other couch games, so why this? Probably because Recreate Games' goal was to focus on a single player per game, matchmaking online model. I didn't buy this game expecting a live service model, and the always online aspect has put me off completely. This game sorely needs an offline only couch co-op mode, skipping the necessity for logging in to a server. Why? Because once this game for whatever reason dies and the servers pulled, it's completely useless like any other live service game. I sincerely hope the developers listen to their community and the criticism they've faced and make plans to rectify it. Until then this is categorically not a party game.

One of the best examples in how to recover from catastrophic failure, the devs at Hello Games have truly managed to turn this game around fully with a complex suite of quality of life improvements and comprehensive on-boarding. Returning to this game could have been a complex mess of new systems and mechanics, but the quests at the start seamlessly embedded me firmly into the new game experience. I fully recommend that people give this game a go.

A ruthlessly fun game which has stolen many hours of my life.

Unlike some other Kickstarter commenters; I find this is exactly the game I pledged for. The guys at Pixel Titans have nailed the nostalgic 90's aesthetic, and with an appropriately awesome soundtrack to boot. If you like synthwave; you'll love this.

It's a cool little game for a distraction over a lunch at work. You get the same level of cathartic pleasure out of this game as you would say in Diablo or Postal. Gore is absolutely on point, and feels like you're playing a weird mash-up of horde mode meets UT instagib.

I'd recommend this game to those of you who just want to switch off and enjoy a nostalgia-fuelled gore-fest.

A classic RTS. Can't go wrong with a Relic developed RTS game. Company of Heroes is testament to that.
