As of 2025, Gaijin remains a manipulative studio that is one of the most outstanding modern examples of exploitative monetization in gaming. Gaijin thrives off of their predatory pay-to-progress Gachapocalypse economics--and the staggering profits that come with them. Server issues still plague the game, and there are significant issues with hit recognition even today; nearly 11 years after the introduction of ground forces.

Many things have improved < 2025, but the game still has a long way to go.
