-Pretty straight forward with minimal issues

-8-bit style. nothing fancy

Visuals: 2/5
-Not many. screen shakes, slime-balls do not mesh together. Quality 8-bit life.

Graphic Quality: 3.5/5
- 8-bit style. Decent enough models. repeated environment/background and map system rips away a little bit, but not enough to tarnish.

Unique Idea:5/5
-I can't speak for others, but this game is %100 unique to my 40 years playing games. using inventory rules to Attack, Defend, with a simple concept that expands into dynamic strategies.

Content: 5/5
-60 hours of actual game play and I still have yet to complete it all. There is a lot packed into this little game.

Replay Value: 4/5
-With all the different heroes, item sets, and content unlocked, there is just repeated dungeon crawls with community created content after that. Fun brain teaser after completion.

Co-Op Game-play: N/A

Voice-work: N/A

Stability: 3/5
-A few bugs still exist. One i found to be possibly run-breaking if saved after triggered.

Community Presence: 4/5
-Seems like modding adds new heroes with both a combination of item sets, artifacts and backpack rules and is fully supported by the Steam Workshop.

Total Score:35/45

Last Thoughts: Minor flaws that could be fixed with some dev love would truly shine this hidden gem up. Almost certain to be a great travel or no internet connection addition to anyone's library who enjoys paradigm thinking tactical style games.

This game is freakin awesome! It has it all, good sounds/music, smooth game play, great concept, and a dynamically addictive progression reward system.

I love indies, and picking this one up for the $13 i spent feels like i robbed the devs for this epic creation.

fun game. a new twist to a throwback title.

PROS:

decent controls.
pretty easy upgrade system.
moderate replay value.

CONS:

outdated lobby system.
music/sfx are a bit lackluster.
a couple of bugs ran into so far (no game breaking issues, just annoying).

Fun concept. a typical approach to deck building sims/ rouge- like style of games.

-Multiple characters with different card decks to build around.

-Many ways to customize each run with different artifacts, cards, curses, potions, and route choices.

- "Punished until you make it" style of progression.

- Music and sound effects are what you would typically expect from this style of game.

- Only REAL complaint is the menu layouts outside of game play. With a mouse, it isn't all that bad. However, with a controller/steam deck, it requires a bit of paying attention to ensure the correct selections are buttoned correctly.

-8/10 - BIG Bias towards Indie Devs with the intent of keeping the "soul" in gaming development.

a fun expansion of the MW series. Who doesn't like stompy robots with big weapons, customizable loadouts, and rock em' sock em' melee combat features?

Poke"mon + Ark + Western economics = PalWorld.

-Aspect Breakdown-

1) Poke'Mon: Even though Nintendo CANNOT copyright all aspects of their creation, we can at least all come together and agree that, " Hitting a random wild animal/creature in the head with a spherical object after beating said creature within an inch of their life (literally) using an enslaved creature of your own under the intent of capturing, training and ultimately enslaving for the pure interest of self serving fame and glory", is in fact all thanks to Nintendo.

Though I have not seen "Evolutions"yet I wouldn't be surprised.

2) Ark: Washing up in a strange place and introduced to alien tech is literally the start of ark. the building, creature management and other aspects all are driven by an ark feel. the tech tree system feels very close to ark leveling.

3) Western economics: The best way to paint this picture begins with a question: " what if Poke'Mon actually existed...And was ultimately touched by the real world? The way that i figure it someone would have figured out that putting captured Poke'Mon to work was better than them being stored by some crazy scientist in some sort of server.

In this game you tell NOT Poke'Mon to sew your fields, gather their milk, sheer their wool, chop them trees and even mine that minerals. I think this game goes a little too far in Western economics in the sense that this game also answers the question, "What if I hit a HUMAN BEING with a Poke' Ball? the answer is that you end up with a slave! that is 100% correct, you can be a slave master.

I am %100 blown away by this and actually just found out about this feature so I cannot fully elaborate as far as this slaving can go (can i force them to breed, ect...). i dont know how to feel about this but is definitely one of the most uniquely added feature to any game i have played to date. ( I have played Kenshi and experienced slavery in other games. But capturing people with a Poke' Ball to bring back to what is in all truth a plantation at that point is FULLY a new concept to me)


Even with the mixed feeling of slavery it is not enough waver this decent alpha/ early beta releases Solid 7.5/ 10 rating by myself.

issues with controls, customization, interaction and environmental bugs, and expanding the creature database are needed to be addressed in order to get to a higher point... If they are addressed before final product there is no reason this title cannot become a franchise in its own right.

So Ive been apart of the Jagged Alliance Following since the beginning and I have been disappointed over and over. Jagged Alliance: Back in action was a decent follow-up, but there were so many failures in between. When it come to JA3 the effort is actually noticeable in so many areas of the game.

The effort to keep the feel of the original 1&2 with the Merc personalities, load outs, and chemistry is all in line. The commentary from the merc units are done pretty well, but will get pretty repetitive with each click in movement and actions taken. The interactions with NPCs feels a lot like JA: Back in Action, curving the gameplay based upon conversational choices and perks that influence dialogue options.

The movement outside of combat is Live Action which will take some getting used to for new comers. Along with the combat system. The dynamic options available for every possible choice of attack is pretty in depth. Since the devs took out the "Perfect Position for Attack" method, the preferred attack is based upon the merc, planning, and gut instinct approach.

The bigges improvement (in my eyes) is the inventory management. No longer do your mercs need to huddle in a "circle jerk" to handle personal inventory and recourse gathering. so much stress relieved in the form of time efficiency and movement management because of this single improvement.

I wish I had more friends who followed the jagged alliance game so I/We could experiment with the multiplayer feature.

Beyond that, I have to give the game a 8/10 so far. Its is a smooth surface to slide across and feel what the Devs were after in expressing their " Ideal" product for JA3.

Pick it up and join in the crusade to liberate another clients country.

dungeons 3 is a continuous push towards the true Ultimate Evil. It would be nice to have the dev teams make HARD LEAPS forward, But i do understand the baby steps approach to bring in each new generation of gamers. HOWEVER, I believe DEVs give little respect in the form of EVOLUTION involving new generations of gamers.

the graphics are solid, and the mechanics are at par with previous versions. the narrators is as always a BIG contributor to the franchise with wit and humorous commentary. The comfort factor is always a great bonus when a franchise does it right, and i feel very comfortable diving into the game even after months of being away, i can come back with confidence in returning to make further advancement in my progress.

Great game IF you own a flight yolk. "Mouse+Keyboard" and "Classic Keyboard" were too rigid and low response. I even tried with XBOX 1 controls to find out it takes way more buttons to play than the game pad has avalible. Buy this game Only if you own or plan on owning a flight yolk.
