yes there's a lot of heart put into this game and honestly the technical issues aren't that bad

you can tell they wanted this to workout and I prefer to know how hard they worked

if i had better words, I would use them, but this game story music movie is messy
but I like it that way, breaks hearts better and builds em up

I might just keep this game.

Some people have said it is difficult to find certain resources, but if this game maintained the chillness I think I could live with that. This isn't minecraft, and honestly there are other survival games like Abiotic Factor where difficult progression and survival are the main goals. I would love it if this stayed like where it is but more refined if that makes sense? More things to do but at the winds pace without sacrificing performance and graphics.

Edit: I would wait until it is more fleshed out. whatever the new updated did, made it perform worse even on lower settings for me. Otherwise unchanged.

Kinda buggy with abilities, lots of rules about the game are unclear but you also have to wait to unlock them.

The game has lots of potential but it might take awhile to become realized. Unless the fanbase grows and more modders show up to add more mini games, the base virtual pet is all you get. Which wouldn't be a downside without bugs and lots of unknowns about the game's future. Overall I like it but the above statements say I dont recommend buying it.

In the game's defense, the dev is responsive and there is an easy way to call out bugs in their discord for the game.

Edit: So my final verdict, I ultimately don't like it anymore because it feels close to digimon world 1 but doesn't scratch the itch. It is also far too needy as a virtual pet; needing to be interacted with every 5 minutes to keep it stable, which means it is very distracting from doing other things but not enough to be a full game.

Honestly not a great deck builder. You don't really build your deck and the parts you do build are usually not synced well.

For an example, you chose a deck that revolves around mechs and getting them out quickly. But the few cards you do get to pull usually have nothing to do with that theme. But you have to put those cards in occasionally because your deck size determines your health. So you end up with a deck that doesn't have many cards that really synergize well with each other, on top of that the enemies you end up facing later love to influence your deck build directly, so all the time you put into building falls apart with no recovery.

Unlike in slay the spire or griftlands, I dont feel like I am always drawing worthless cards, and there are incentives to not drafting instead of being punished for it. It's like if in slay the spire, you always had that relic that makes you draft cards from all colors.

Only problem I had was with changing the window size of the game when not in full screen. Not a terribly bad issue if you are actually studying. I love the lore bits, I hope the map gets bigger and I hope more music could potentially be added.

Even if none of those things come, still great. Love supporting Blue Turtle.
