Balance is completely off, the netcode is underwhelming for a modern fighting game. The characters have been greatly simplified in comparison to their 7 counterparts. You could put 100's of hours into a character in 7 and barely scratch the surface, in 8 you could pick up the same character and learn them in a few hours.
