The story keeps you on your toes! You keep learning more and more until the final cards are revealed at the end, after going through numerous plot twists. The tone is good too, there are some comedic bits but serious topics are treated carefully and with respect. When the main character suffers, it hits, especially later on when we learn more about his struggles.

The game doesn't have any unique mechanics other than the uncomplicated conversation system based on discovering topics that you later select when talking to a character. You collect items, use them, sometimes combine them. But the puzzles themselves are satisfying. I did get stuck for a moment a few times but I didn't need to use a guide. The game felt fair, I never thought some solution was overly random (a frequent issue I have with this genre).

I had to get used to the voice acting (the main character specifically) but in the end, I learned to like it. 😄

The soundtrack was above average. It's not something I will reminisce about but it was good and complimented the action nicely.

So to keep it short: it's become my favourite point and click game, give it a try!
