Gonna drop a positive review to support the dev. The ai art negative reviews gloss over the fact its a togglable option and personally, I like the diversity and don't think they look bad.

About the game itself, genuinely one of a kind with the amazing world generation, in depth simulations of multiple mechanics, super fleshed out factions/politics/beliefs/etc, and top notch warfare. A great 4x game combining amazing elements from all games of this genre with complex population and economy workings topped off by excellent combat. Highly recommend for any 4x or wargame enjoyers.

New match engine is great. New ui is visually appealing. With that being said, there is are so many features/options/possibilities that you could do in the old ui to accomplish/compare/do certain things in the old fm that are simply nonexistent in this new one I find it an extremely frustrating experience. On top of that, information that was easily accessible and logically made sense from a ui progression point of view in the past is now buried behind layers and layers of clicks and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that simply makes accessing it non functional and non rational.

The most recent update made me buy it and I was hoping that brought this up to speed to fm24 but there are so many things just fundamentally and objectively wrong with the ui. Overall, good improvements have been made in the engine and visuals but the straight regression in ui practicality deems this a do not recommend.

Low poly stalker with a lot of depth already on top of regularly receiving updates. Should be a gem in due time

Such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool game bogged down by an overly time consuming combat system. The mechanics of managing your troops, story writing, and immersion are excellently done but when the novelty of the fights wear off by your 4th or 5th engagement, it simply just becomes a chore to play.

just dropped 10 hours on this in a single day, been about half a decade since a game has done that to me
