The Single Player version for this game is Okay, just a shame that the multitude of cars in Multiplayer couldn't be spawned in Single Player without using mods. The Story, at least for me, is engaging. Each Character in the story has some sort of story behind him that adds depth to the character and his motives as the player progresses through the game.

The Multiplayer though. H O L Y ♥♥♥♥.
The Multiplayer would've been an OK experience if the game breaking bugs were patched. Like that big rig that may suffer from a collision bug that causes it to suddenly break down in smokes. Another issue that plagues the Multiplayer version is the fact that there are a /lot/ of Modders (Or one could call hackers) that just join in the game only to grief players who just mind their own business. If you have the audacity to grief players, at least do it fairly instead of relying on hacks only to convince yourself that "You're good at this game" When you're really not.

Another thing that plagues this game, actual bots. There bot accounts in this game with levels varying from low level ones to obviously modded levels (6666, 7999 or sometimes even just out right 8000) and they only join in just to advertise-spam websites that sells Mod Menus. You may ignore them once, but if you have friends who you play with and just prefer to use the in game chat instead of using a mic and communicate through discord or some other medium, you are going to have a difficult time reading what they said due to these bots.

Verdict: Down vote. Online play on Public lobbies are too much of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to actually play especially with the modders either showering you with a ♥♥♥♥ ton of explosions coming from God knows where, or people who only know how to fight using the Oppressor MK.2.

From what I heard, this game came a long way. From being literally riddled with Microtransactions in to what you see right now. The [DE]velopers really try hard and please their players with whatever they can do from having the game not tread to be completely pay to win. If you're looking for a game where one person to get good at without spending a dime; this game is perfect for you.

Great story telling.

Game is somewhat old but still enjoyable nontheless.
