I’ve wanted to play Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition for a long time, and it truly exceeded expectations. It’s one of the best RPGs ever made — deep story, complex characters, and unmatched freedom of choice. Every quest can be approached in multiple ways, and the world reacts naturally to your actions.

Combat is tactical and rewarding, with environmental effects and creative skill combinations that make every battle feel unique. The writing and voice acting are excellent, and the Definitive Edition refines almost every aspect of the original release.

It starts a bit slow, but once you understand the systems, it becomes incredibly immersive. After finishing it, I finally understand why so many players call it a masterpiece.

I came for Lady Dimitrescu, stayed for the trauma therapy.
Ethan Winters really said: “Who needs hands anyway?” — and Capcom took that personally.
Every time I thought I was safe, a werewolf the size of a Honda Civic showed up to ruin my life.
Graphically gorgeous, emotionally devastating, and somehow made me feel bad for shooting dolls.
This isn’t survival horror — it’s “please stop chasing me, I just want to loot this drawer” simulator.

Shadows of Rose (DLC)
Rose: “I just wanna be normal.”
Capcom: “Cool, here’s a nightmare realm made of mold, whispers, and PTSD.”
Honestly the perfect mix of spooky, heartfelt, and “what the hell is that noise behind me?”

Them and Us captures the essence of classic survival horror with tense atmosphere, limited resources, and well-crafted puzzles. The option to switch between fixed-camera and over-the-shoulder views is a great touch. While some animations feel a bit dated, the game delivers a solid, nostalgic horror experience with modern polish.

Great for fans of old-school Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

I honestly regret finishing this. Tales of Berseria might’ve had potential, but it wastes it at every turn.

The story starts off edgy and dark but quickly becomes a repetitive loop of characters talking in circles, forced melodrama, and meaningless side quests. The main plot crawls at a snail’s pace, and by the end, I just wanted it to be over. The emotional payoff? Nonexistent. The ending feels lazy and hollow, as if the devs gave up halfway through.

Combat is just button-mashing chaos with very little strategy. You unlock tons of moves but end up spamming the same ones because the AI is brain-dead and the difficulty scaling is a joke. Dungeon design is copy-paste boring – same corridors, same textures, no imagination.

The voice acting is passable, but the skits and cutscenes drag on forever, often repeating information you already know. It’s more like reading a slow visual novel than playing an RPG.

And don’t get me started on the visuals. Even for a 2016 game, it looks outdated – stiff animations, flat environments, and bland character models.

If you're new to the Tales series, don't start here. If you're a fan, lower your expectations. This isn’t the gripping, emotionally powerful JRPG some claim it to be – it’s a padded, sluggish mess that completely falls apart by the end.

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition has the potential to be a masterpiece, but it's buried under a mountain of technical problems that make the experience frustrating and often unplayable.

The most glaring issue was a game-breaking bug in the Caspian mission where Damir simply refuses to help you climb a ledge, stopping all progress. No matter how many times I reloaded, nothing fixed it except restarting the entire chapter — which meant hours of lost gameplay.

DLSS is broken. Enabling it caused everything to become a blurry mess, and in several instances, I was greeted with a completely black screen with only the HUD visible. Turning DLSS off helped, but at a massive cost to performance.

Black screens are a recurring problem throughout the game. After cutscenes or during transitions, the game would randomly fade to black and never return. Each time required a hard reset of the game.

There were also frequent crashes, particularly in large open areas. Frame drops and stuttering were constant, even on a high-end system. The game would randomly tank performance for no clear reason.

Other annoyances included UI scaling issues on ultra-wide monitors and a corrupted save file after one crash, forcing me to replay several hours.

I really wanted to enjoy this game. The world, the atmosphere, the story — they're all there. But the bugs, glitches, and instability ruin it. Until these issues are patched properly, I can’t recommend this version to anyone.

“Isaac went to fix the plumbing and ended up in Silent Hill in space.”

Me: "I just wanna repair the comms, maybe say hi to my space girlfriend."

USG Ishimura: "Welcome to the meat corridors, buddy."

Immersion? My health bar is my spine and I check it more than I check my bank account.
Combat? Strategic dismemberment. Headshots are for cowards. I’m taking legs and asking questions never.
Atmosphere? I opened a locker and screamed. It was ammo.
Voice acting? Isaac speaks now, and somehow that made everything worse and better at the same time.
Nicole? Girl shows up, stares into my soul, disappears. Thanks for the therapy bill.

I entered a room.
It was dark.
There was whispering.
I turned around.
It was my own shadow.
I reloaded anyway.

Finished the story. Felt proud.
Started New Game+.
Found twelve suspicious rocks.
Isaac calmly decides to start a cult.
Yeah, he's fine. Totally fine. Nothing wrong here.

Final Thoughts:
This game didn’t just remake a classic. It resurrected it, gave it a voice, polished its plasma cutter, and whispered in its ear, “Now go scare people all over again.”

Play it. Love it. Get gaslit by dead people in space.
You’ll thank yourself. Probably.

Me, 100 hours later: Bro, same.

Peak JRPG.
Timeline? Shattered.
Aerith? Maybe dead. Maybe alive. Maybe both.
Tifa punches the soul outta enemies.
Red XIII drops the Batman voice and goes full zoomer.
Chocobo drift is real.
Sephiroth? Still hot. Still rude.
Gilgamesh? He stole my sword AND my dignity.
Loveless play? S-tier rhythm game disguised as Shakespeare.

And the ending?
I am now 20% tears, 80% questions, and 100% ready for Part 3.

Would ride dolphin again.
Would die for Chadley.
Would cry over Aerith repeatedly.
