In this game there are no comically large child zombies. Because of this, it doesn't meet the standards of THE greatest game ever made. Now you are probably asking yourself, 'does this game have Jiro's son?' Unfortunately no. However this game does have multiple different sniper rifles you can shoot from. I know what you're thinking. This isn't anything novel by any means. Nevertheless what makes this game special is you can shoot from a sniper rilfe while upside down, or doing a flip. Because of this mechanic, we have to consider this game as one of the best ever made... Even though there is no comically large child zombie.

This is it! This is the very first sniper shooter game ever created. Every game that was created after this one, that had a sniper rifle you can shoot from is a shameless copy of this game. If you read other reviews for this game, you will notice that there are a lot of negative reviews. Ignore those. They are all wrong for the simple fact that this game is revolutionary in its core concept. You have to be extremely smart to come up with this incredible idea to create a game where you can shoot from a sniper rifle. You simply CANNOT argue against this fact.

On Henry's Rock heist, the guy that spawns in the window at the end of the heist is Jiro's son. Apparently this is incredibly important for the Payday lore. Also one of the glyphs for the Ark of the Covenant puzzle looks like a sperm. Now I'm not sure if this is important for the Payday lore, but it made me laugh. I think the developers just put that detail in for comedic effect.

Anyway I hope this review will help you decide if you want to buy this game and help fund the development of Payday 3.

A Terminator game that ignores the existence of every Terminator movie after T2 Judgement Day. This is what Terminator 3 should have been to conclude the trilogy.
This game was simply made for Terminator fans.

If you like Immersive sims, you will absolutely love it. It's an exceptional game you don't want to miss. There was so much love and dedication put into it's making.

I will be revisiting this game. Not just because of it's sheer replayability value, but also because I'm curious just how many things it will predict in the following decades with it's ideas and subject matter. It takes place in the year 2027 after all...

When you launch this game, it gives you a warning message that it can cause heart failure and suicide. That's a pretty pretentious message even for the time when it was released.
I gave it a chance because of the praise it gets, but lost interest in it after playing through few chapters of it. It talks about really serious issues, but takes forever to start making sense. It's slow paced and there's a lot of backtracking involved. Generally it's pretty tedious.
I have to give credit to the developers. It's quite a daunting project to complete with a small team. I will say they made the right decision to make this game free to play.
If they ever make a remake I would probably play through it.
