I managed to get a great deal on ebay to buy the gold edition of this digitally for £9 and, given that it caught my eye as a relaxing game to play I thought why not?!

So far I've had one session and done 4 long haul back to back contracts. Good lord this is additive, the tutorial is enough to pick up quickly and you can choose from a range of control settings to make it as simple as forward, backward, and steer all on the WASD keys all the way to COMPLETE control down to almost every button in the cabin. I don't know what it is, but this is so much fun! I'm recognising places I've actually visited in person as I drive and listening to real live radio as I haul is a great addition! I see now why so many people enjoy this title. Especially on maxed out graphics settings; the attention to detail of both the truck models and environment is astonishing!

If like me, you like having a cheap game to unwind to at the end of the day then do yourself a favour and pick this up. You don't have to have a massive interest in trucking or haulage, but you'll discover your inner child again playing this in some respects..

10/10 from me so far!!!
