It is exactly as advertised. A top-down shooter game with strict rules of engagement. You are rewarded for doing things by the book & cannot proceed to next level for not abiding by the tough but fair ROE - Not even that, You always get more points for taking people alive. So if you do everything exactly right for one level you can proceed to the next 5 levels even if you are killing with impunity.

I am disappointed, however, that a game called 'police stories' has a whirlwind of cliches for a story. If you're interested in a good police story I thoroughly recommend LA noire (I would also recommend sleeping dogs but I haven't seen the story it self, it's supposed to be excellent.) Aside from the actually surprising ending, I recommend this game for the gameplay & the soundtrack, not the story.

My absolute favorite part about this game are the random news articles in the top left corner. It really puts the last 18 years into some context. They can range from interesting to mundane to funny. You WILL Pause the game just to put he EXACT words in the Google.

This game made quite an impression on me. It may have flaws but I'm glad I bought it in the end.

Yeah, wtf valve. Do you expect the neighborhood Watch to defeat a insurgency? No? Then why aren't you mobilizing any resources against the fact that the community is being swatted for doing your job? To be clear, there was nothing wrong with letting the community do the work for you, but it is immensely wrong to not fight for their safety as the least you can do. This game isn't just not fun to play it is now downright dangerous to change that. #FixTF2

(Pre-edit: Team Fortress 2 is like a video game and a hobby at the same time. you can shoot up enemies, and then go back to crafting (or trading) items.)
