I used to love the game and wish i could give all the support i could, but here we are… The games used to be unique, the gunplay was difficult and satisfying due to the sway and lethality of the weapons, and the PvE aspect made gunfights spiral out of control very quickly, the gameplay was highly rewarding for those who took they’re time to plan a course of action and have patience and precision in their way to traverse the map towards the objective, but them the patchs begun and i was starting to see something that didnt bother me that much at that time, but would soon paint a picture that i already have seen in other now dead or extremely controversial games. A lot of improvements was made but with it alot of uncalled, unnecessary and detrimental little changes was being added/”balanced” as well, some for really no reason, others for stupid feedback of literally 2/3 crybabys with no real emphasis on what was important in the game, the people who actually play the game serious was playing the game and not crying on reddit/discord so these type of people had a free voice to pesk and doom the game the way they like it, and the devs abysmally... listened to them...

Weapons began to feel more of the same with fewer and fewer exceptions left standing as the time goes, players who just play reckless blazing guns, wich used to be just cannonfooder now were popping more and more in the wild with additions and “balances” changes to help them survive theyre recklesness, Perks were downgraded to being really usefull and character defining to being just a very little something your character can do making all character pratically the same(with the solely exception of the fanning nowadays), and much more little tweaks that over the spam of months told the whole story, a story about a core game philosophy that has changed, a story that patience was only in game, and the devs dont want to be patience for theyre community to grow with merity like other games like Warframe, and the devs want to make the game more acessible for the feeble minded casual players.

Then the quickplay comes, and that covered up change in the game development philosophy come in full force and the picture was complete, they were desperate for numbers, and wanted to appeal for the BR afficionados, well it failed, the gamemode got played for a month max, and became just a “get your 4 trait free hunter here” for those who still could labor the herculean job of playing such sad sob of a mode. The changes got more blunt over the time and now we reach 1.0…

Before 1.0 all the guns had some pretty drastic sway which was reduced while crouching. This was a very ingenious way to balance the weapons, andastery of the weapons required finesse and discipline with one's shots. Patience and good positioning were key to a fight, ballerinas were just a free kill at that time, even thou they made several changes to help this players out.

In 1.0 they removed the sway. The game is justa Headshot machine. I get so many more kills per game now that the sway is gone, and i can just perform a sidestep dance to dodge my enemys bullet without constraint, even the most powerfull weapon that had an almost unberable sway, are like laserguns while moving... And I hate it. You immediately tell the game is easier and that's DETRIMENTAL to the longevity of the game. You learned how to control the sway and the weapons and you felt like a gunslinger.
You would pull out your revolver and one tap someone and feel like all the time spent learning the way the guns move and lining up shots was worth it.

More importantly, playing with people that actually knew what they were doing left you in awe. They'd pull off crazy shots and you KNEW they were crazy. And eventually you'd pull off such trick shots and you partner would say "Nice one dude" It felt special, unique...rewarding.

I Hoped for the best of this game, i defended it like i was a mother lion defending its cubs, even when it was the Gilded age, but now… now im not so sure i want to defend it anymore… If you see the trailer of its annoucement of 2017 you will see the game is a whole other game altogheter...and its just so sad.

I thank you crytek, for the wondefull experience that you had provided me, i thank you for the gem of the game that you had created, I truly do. But i wont be playing this game much longer. You didnt respect the community that you maded, and went to a path that can only lead both the communitys displeased with the results. You played yourselfs, and in a bit of time, you will reap what you sow.

Also overpriced day one cosmetic only DLC...

Hunt showdown 2018 8/10 get a time machine and go back to the beta release its Worth it even if you have just one travel in it

If you are a chivalry orphan, buy this! It delivers everything chivalry did back when it was a good game better, and much more. A must play game nonetheless

In the past, Warframe was really f bad, it took like 3hour for me to unninstall. Well, this is not that same warframe.
This game has polishment, content, complexity and much more. Things that no AAA games lately could do.
Digital Extremes is a company that listen and tries to deliver all what the fans wants, even if it will damage then financely.
Above all This game is free, and 0% pain to win.
