In its core, this game is pretty easy to understand, but all the upgrades and combinations you can get make it very replayable (as well as seeing how many point-scoring upgrades i can get away with before dying due to a lack of survivability)
Aside from the upgrades, I feel like there's also plenty of nuance to your movement and to the behaviour of enemies that's fun to mess around with and learn from like how the little helicopter fly actually can't damage you if you're standing inside of it
