Girls Frontline 2 still manage to deliver their writing as always like Girls Frontline 1. Sure sometimes some parts feels like a filler. But from what I see so far, some parts of the story they call filler aren't fillers if you delve a bit deeper, does have parts that might be use for future stories. As far as I know fillers means story that pretty much is made there as well, filling the time until the main story comes, and usually have nothing to add to the main plot.

But for example in Niketta's event story I see so many things that can possibly be a breadcrumbs or foreshadow for future stories that haven't been revealed yet (I don't know the story from CN as I avoid spoilers like a plague) of some parts Sojourner's (the doll community stories) while it seems not tied to the main story with Elmo crew for now, there no way it won't be related at all considering there's been 3 event story using that side (Ulrid's, Suomi's, and Dushevnaya)

What I see here is slow burn style of story writing, sure if we compare to GFL 1, GFL 1 still have better story so far, but we do have to remembered the slow burn is basically starting again from the start and not directly continue the cooked lavish meal he had from GFL 1 to accommodate new players who haven't played GFL 1 with the story.

Well, that's my review so far atleast with the story.

Many here will mostly talk about the gacha, but I'll be honest, so far I haven't really done much of those min maxing people does with "go for this doll" or build them like this" or "this character is a must have"

I played day one using the sunburn launcher and untill now all I've done is just pull for every doll without their dupes and signature, so Basically just F0 on everyone, and for me atleast the game is still very possible to clear anyway without the "META" and it's actually way more fun than stressing yourself with "META" people are making, as using "META" will make the game too easy, which as a byproduct, makes the game becomes autobattler. The only payment I have done was buying Battlepass once for Crowned Jackalope, and Groza's Sangria Succulent.
