The loot in the demo was a little better / more exciting so not sure what happened there but overall a really fun game.

Unique and different game.

Love the concept of VR within the the game

Very cool game -

Set in the Ashes of the Singularity universe, Siege of Centauri puts the player in command of the defense of Earth's first colony that is under attack by endless waves of alien invaders.

What I like:
- Elements of progression (no towers are gated by level), I replayed the first map and my score seems to be adding up in the background for each playthrough unlocking more and more towers
- Graphics are pretty good - I played on high (although sometimes I had a loooot of explosions and towers it was a bit hard to see everything going on clearly haha)
- RTS elements - you can summon some units and they will stay and fight (you can also control them in the sense of movement and where to attack).
- Ability to rush waves for more resources
- Ability to pause, slow or speed up the game speed
- Zooming in and out shows the beautiful graphics and enemy detail
- Leaderboard for each map (online and linked to other players). This lead me to redoing some of the maps and competing for the high score haha.

What I'd like to see
- Sometimes i had trouble placing towers in a straight line (some players suggested a grid or snap to grid option)
- Is there some voice acting? I think sometimes I had it and sometimes it was just text, I dont remember on this one sorry. Always like voices included.
- I could be wrong but for the life of me I could never figure out my Colony building HP, it tells me when its about to die but I was looking around for a Hp bar or something
- Score is top left of the screen (initially I thought this was my resources for a good map or two haha) Maybe swap the score to the right hand side and resources top left.

Whats coming
- Looking forward to the future RPG elements as they will allow us to equip things (not sure how this will work yet)

Best Most Polished EARLY ACCESS GAME I'VE played

Super fun game!

haha I kept playing to unlock different heros.

The first time I played was confused as hell, as I thought each map would send me to a base or something for more shopping.

It doesnt... basically the game goes until you die. There are 4 or 5 maps and they get increasingly harder the longer you are alive, but you can also get lots of upgrades and even find secret portals to obtain powerful rewards.

Grab a friend and get killing.

Highly recommended!

Game looks pretty cool and unique,

The first scan took a little getting use to but once I got the hang of it, it was much easier. You can also upgrade later in the office to get a better scanner.

Overall a pretty cool game, and hope they do more simulators.

The graphics are pretty good, only minor suggestion would be I wish I could look up sometimes to enjoy the view while I am looking down at the ground scanning :p but I totally understand this might not be realistic

Big update just came out and am looking forward to trying the game more.

Great game, multiplayer and DM Mode is bad ass, wish it had more players

Fun game, it's early days but I can see the potential. THe UI and special effects on shooting is amazing, and building a big bad ass bass is super easy (in terms of placement, obviously you need to work for the resources).

Looking forward to seeing the game progress and future updates.

Great game, spent a few hours tinkering in single player and growing my ship and gold ;) Now looking forward to playing multiplayer after a quick test yesterday.

Great game, got a lot of potential and had fun with the tutorial. Now about to try out the new sand box mode!

Hi Everyone,

After putting in about a hundred hours or so into this game (40 recorded on steam),

Excellent game, and a blast to play with friends. I've been testing it since the start of the Alpha (When I joined the defence council).

Let me break down my thoughts into sections:

UPDATES::
Over the past week or two there has been an absolutely HUGE update. We've got a completely new armor system. Since the beginning i've seen new hero abilities added and updated, the introduction of a spec system where each time you level up (after you hit level 5) you can distribute points to a specific trait or skill much like an RPG.

Enemies - When I first started playing there was only a few and now there a ALOT of enemies to make you work for that sweet sweet victory! Be sure to destroy the purple wither beasts before they burrow under the ground and destroy your defences!

MULTIPLAYER:
With the new steam integration, I can simply click DD2 in steam library and see which friend is playing then join his game instantly by right clicking his name. You can host a private lobby or join a lvl range you want and it will match you with other players.

DD2 is always more fun with friends!.

The more players the better! Although you can definitely solo maps, you get a higher chance for better loot with a higher number of players, and the monsters scale up to keep it just as challenging!

See if you can defeat the MIGHTY Ogre with 3 of your friends on Hard mode. You will recognise him with his spiked armor, but look out for his ranged snot! That will slow you down.

CLOSING REMARKS:
All I can say is the game has come a really long way, they take the feedback on board really well and quickly and the game has a lot of potential.

What's important to remember is that the game is in alpha and about to go early access, so if you have a suggestion put it out there :). Lots will be updated and changed and balanced.
