Must have imo.

I've spent over 1000 hrs in game so far. I've yet to play anything like it. I've met hundreds of players from around the world. Russian, Australian, Brazil, UK, US, Sweden. Yes there are latency issues and yes when large numbers of players get together there is pop in. There are some major issues with log in. The community warned them prior to launch and posted both in discord as well as on the website. There are some pretty game breaking things as well. Nodes often make your horse or gear disappear. Zombies in the graveyard have some serious dsync when attacking. And pets can randomly lose loyalty after you have spent a few hours taming and training them. (This one is big for me)

Now that I have said that. I have spent over 1k hrs meeting cool people in cool places. The community aspect of this game is unbelievable. You have full loot pvp where your standing with real players is the difference between a hi and hello to your head getting gone. The pve aspect of leveling and crafting is insane. You can cook all kinds of different foods and potions. Skilling your build to max it out or just enough to be self sufficient. Swords,dagger,axes and hammers. Bows (3 kinds currently with more on the way) can be used as a backup or primary. You can tame or dominate horses, cougars,spiders,bears, lizards,razorback, wolves and the list keeps going. You can hunt and fish. Both give you material for cooking and crafting. You can do dungeons, explore huge cities and travel for hours on horseback with friends. You can build and decorate houses. Complete with work benches and storage. Now add in the guilds ranging from a few friends to a few hundred people. The full loot open world gives way to some really cool large scale conflict.

I have spent a huge amount of time doing in game photography. From the people I meet to player hosted tournaments. To date I have over 4k pictures posted both in a my gallery as well as guild discords. My hope sooner rather than later the problems are fixed and I get the frustration. That being said this game is an epic adventure. One I will gladly continue to support and play. See you online.

Its the game I keep coming back to.Hoping for an updated engine and a world that feels more alive on the next one. 4/5 IMO
