As a new player to the pc version of this game I did not know about all the issues that it has compared to console. However if you are like me and was too anxious to get into modding, I highly recommend downloading DXVK and FusionFix. These are easy to apply fixes for the game that restore the pc version somewhat without having to downgrade your game at all. Its not perfect by any means but it is night and day the difference in performance. There are also way more options for graphics and different toggles to help make your game look how you want it.

I wish that I had gotten into PC gaming sooner, CS:GO and this game got me back into competitive games again and I wish that I got to experience more of these games' life cycles. Can't wait to see where CS2 takes me.
