If you're a cheater, or defend those who are cheating then you can eat a ♥♥♥♥ and ♥♥♥♥ right out of TF2. I don't want you in the game, and neither does the community at large.

Some children who think they're funny try and impersonate me to scam others, I do not:
- Accept random friend requests
- Take trade offers without context
- Gift you games, especially in the form of external links
- Send a trade first unless arranged beforehand


If you believe you are talking to a scammer, block and report them as such. Steam does not ban off of a singular report, but if multiple people do the same they will investigate the account before taking appropriate action. Every report counts, even if they're not banned off just your report.

Do not accept random friend requests from people you do not know, have little to no effort put into their profile, and especially do not even have the games you play on recent record. They're adding you to get you to trade them your expensive items, and will run the other way when they have them. Do not believe whatever they tell you, especially if they claim to be working for valve. Valve will simply take your items away if they're not legitimate or contact you with a bright yellow popup on steam that you can't close without acknowledging it if there's a problem.

Steam support does not use discord to talk with you, use the official help system you idiot. That's a scammer using an alternative account to make you think you're talking to a support person. Block both discord accounts and report them to discord using the appropriate reporting tools.

Do not put your information into pages requesting a steam OAuth (clicking 'Sign in with steam!" and hitting authorise for that website) if you cannot confirm the legitimacy of the service. Use your brain. Using marketplace.tf is a good example of what to sign in with OAuth, some backalley voting site you've never heard of before is not. OAuth is designed to be secure and easy to use, not ♥♥♥♥♥♥-proof.

Casinos, gambling sites, and other forms of risk sites should be avoided regardless if they're reputable or not. Even if they don't scam you by means of stealing all your items the moment that you send it to their bot, they 100% rig their 'slot machines' or whatever the ♥♥♥♥.


First of all, scammers will get you to try and disable Steam Guard. Don't do that ♥♥♥♥, valve support can turn it off on their end so if they tell you otherwise it's a scam.

If it sounds too good to be true, it's because it is. Nobody's giving away free items with no strings attached, 9/10 it's going to direct you to either click on a malicious site or confirming a trade offer. People on the internet are never that generous and you shouldn't assume that humanity is healing by doing good to one another, assume there's an alternate motive.

It takes literally less than 2 minutes to check somebody's rep on SteamRep or backpack.tf, if you trade to somebody who's literally been known to scam prior and they scam you too, I am not giving you any sympathy for failing to do basic due diligence. Go cry on reddit with your altered story of how you did all your due diligence and still got scammed.

Don't move your items to a "safe account" unless you absolutely know what you're doing. Steam won't ban your account without warning, unless you're doing something grossly against their ToS or illegal, if you're doing neither of those then don't worry about it. That's a scammer that wants your items.

Don't share your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trade link publicly, especially if you have expensive items, ive seen people use bots to scrape those links and use impersonation accounts to send fake trades. Only give it to places like marketplace.tf or mannco.store, reputable trading websites.

If somebody tells you they need to check your inventory for duplicates, market issues, or marked items, they're not a valve employee. Valve can do that themselves without having to prompt you to do anything, they can delete your account without your permission but need your permission to check your inventory?? you're an idiot and if you do that still, knowing that logic you need to be removed from the reproductive pool.
