The game itself is okay but the fact it was exclusive on EPIC for a year and now when it was released on STEAM it still requires an EPIC launcher to play multiplayer is a huge let down. Developers publishing the title on STEAM platform should use STEAM services only. There is nothing more frustrating than purchasing the game on one store and asking the user to install an additional launcher in order to fully enjoy the mutiplayer aspects of the game.

The game has its potential. The core mechanics were expanded to imaginable level. I love everything in this game, especially the new road system as it's one of the most important things that lets you start your dream city. Of course, the game is undoubtedly without downsides, such as optimization, but if you lower your graphic settings or follow a developer guide on performance, it should be playable at a decent level. Was it worth waiting? Heck yeah of course it was. Was it rushed? Seems to me it is a dangerous new trend where game publishers are forcing the studio to release the game in a state where it does not meet its internal benchmark target however, if you have a decent PC and lower your graphic settings you will enjoy this truly new gene citybuilder hands no doubt.
