Embarrassing.

A game from 2006 that once delivered a gruesome gritty atmosphere has been "revamped" in such a terrible way. The graphics are subpar, textures are blurry and significantly downgraded from the original, the once battle hardened and filthy characters are now just dolled up NFL players. At some points It's almost like watching gachi.

Not only that but the game runs terribly, I changed my graphics to ultra and it crashed until I deleted the wargame (basically the user profile) folder in appdata/local.

This is no more than a cash grab. Avoid it.

waste of money, I'm going to go play motorsport 3 on an emulator instead

In it's current state I can't recommend it, not unless they heavily revamp the core mechanics and streamline the features (such as sprint and other basic movement functions) because overall this plays like a Halo 5 clone with bits of quake and fortnite sprinkled in with a **LOT** of gimmicks. The lack of basic features such as pre/post game lobbies, map selection, game mode selection, forge, a campaign and everything else that a Halo game should ship with is very telling of 343 Industries' constant failure to create a good solid Halo game.

While certainly an aged title that shows it, Assassin's Creed tells the tale of betray, tragedy and death. Overall the game has dated mechanics and graphics but still gives the player a sound game that while it does get repetitive and drawn out combat near the end ultimately it's an enjoyable experience.
