🌊 GENERAL DESIGN

Cheap but still very charming, and it cares only for the most important part of the animal kingdom, fishes. The needs of your aquatic fellows are also quite nicely done if realism/education matters to you. Trailers are true to the in-game rendition so you can base yourself on them to make your appreciation.

🌊 CONSTRUCTION/CUSTOMIZATION

It makes you really happy, nothing is burdening you about positioning things, it's well done and it can become one of the game challenge (Setting your aquarium machines hidden away from public but still accessible to reparations). Expanding the map limits is easy and let you be creative, it's really an advantage over games with preset map sizes...
Overall things tends to be a tiny bit minimalistic in terms of personalisation options or item catalogue, but everything it provides feel suited and useful. (For example lots of decorations going inside and outside of pools etc..)

🌊 DURATION

Campaign is long enough in my opinion (Should take you 25-35 Hours without expansions, considering that you don't try to rush it, and neither you perfect for hours each level ) and then you will probably want to make some games to make your dream aquarium, or go for the other modes, so you can easily double/triple that with a bit of love for it.

🌊 OVERALL IMPRESSION

The one game in a long time that made me feel like when i was playing ten years ago with some of the awesome early Sims and Tycoons games we had. Sometimes simplicity just does it (I'm looking at you Planet Coaster and Cities Skyline).
