Was contacted by "someone" who got "scammed" by someone impersonating me. Don't know the details, but just a reminder to trust no one, and use Credit Cards online so your money is protected.

Being in pain really sucks away at your free time. Just too difficult to get into it. Which is a horrible thing to think. Ah well, gonna help a friend test a game tonight, maybe that'll spark something. In the meantime, I'm running a D&D game, and I'm WAY behind in my prep. I'm afraid the game is going to suffer because of it.

Well not NEW per say, but it was updated recently, it's a pack with these really HD textures a bunch of fan's did. Basically download, dump them into Quake folder and run. Problem is the Steam overlay causes the game to crash when you run it with the Darkplaces mod, so no recording play time in steam, but works without it. Adds really nice lighting effects. Pretty fun.

I'm playing around with the new HD pack, save for the low polycount on the levels the game looks amazing. Also enjoy watching Quake Speedrun demos.
