I've only completed the first case so far, but I wanted to express my impressions before they left me. I'll say that even at this early stage I'm enjoying the game a lot. It's readily apparent the developers hold a lot of affection both for Ace Attorney and Japanese-style Western Fantasy (which you typically see all over isekai these days.) If you like either of those, I think you'll get plenty of value out of this game.

There are some aspects of the script and things like evidence that could use some tightening up for consistency. I noticed some typos here and there, and a continuity error in the progression of the case. These are the kinds of things that a game like this really relies on, but it's nothing that a proofreading pass wouldn't fix. Other than that, the character writing feels solid, the art is very nice, the music is great, and the progression of the story feels very satisfying and like just what I'd want from an Ace Attorney-like.

Play Ys I & II first. Really.

Otherwise this is a wonderful title.

If you like rubbing your face into the chests of various enemies, then this is the game for you.
