This is my favorite game of all time, no question. From the amazing gameplay, stellar visuals, beautiful soundtrack, every aspect of this game sucks you into the world it takes place in. Every single character is memorable in their own right, and the boss fights hit such a sweet spot between incredibly challenging, yet still easy enough for you to know it's possible to beat them, and once you take down a boss and the music swells to signify your victory, you don't wanna put the game down. With the crazy rich story that is neither completely in your face nor far too obscure to care about, it does the silent protagonist perfectly. I don't think I'll ever play a better single player experience than this, and I can only hope the sequel matches that gold standard
