Okay, I have only reviewed one other game on my profile as a joke because of my hours on it.
But that changes right now. This game is one of the best games on this platform.
The developers care and show it with regular updates, events, free battle pass, free cosmetics, and only locking
premium cosmetics for those who want to support the games development further. This is the way people should
do this, not making a paid battle pass and skins shop in a game that has little content and is $60.
This co-op game is also filled with content, and though the missions aren't super plentiful (yet) they provide
a great experience unlike any I have seen. I might seem like I am making a big leap saying this is as good as left 4 dead and left 4 dead 2 when they launched but it is insane how good this game is.
They nurture a modding community and don't punish it for making good content alongside the game. They even
allow for a totally different save so your normal save doesn't mess with the regular games experience.
The music is also very good and is simple, but effective at getting you pumped during fights and setting the ambiance
This game, like few others in it's field from both AAA studios and indie developers, created something special that basks
in it's own lovely goofiness.
Deep Rock Galactic does what few do and creates an enjoyable experience that is not ruined by micro-transactions made to incentivize pay and not play (cough cough activision blizzard cough cough).
I love this game and think the regular $30 price tag is worth it. But if you see this go on sale like it frequently does for $15 or even $10 that is a super deal on a lovely and fantastic game! It is worth every penny!
