there is only one word to describe how good this game is. you know it, and I know it.

So i'm writing a review quite early into the game, with the reason to at least try and boost PAYDAY3's overall positive ratings.

Long story short, I think the game is overhated. There are a lot of people who were mad at it when it launched (which to be fair, the launch wasn't the greatest I understand) but now about 9 months(?) at the time of this review after initial release, it's a pretty solid game! The graphics and animations are unreal, but I think it is still lacking in content for the price they have for it but it's definitely only looking up from here! If the people who played it at the start could play it now and give it another go and re-review it, I think the overall positive rating may be higher.

tl;dr: It's looks to be a promising game for the future, it's DECENT NOW, but if you want a good (and more value for money) PAYDAY experience, perhaps just stick with PD2 for now. But do keep up to date with this one.

A fun 'lil game made by the same guy who made none other than Lethal Company, but i'm not here to talk about that!

The Upturned is a short but sweet comedy horror platformer that I recommend to anyone! Each level was something fresh and was enjoyable the whole way through. The characters were fun as well.

Um, yeah, it was a good game! Buy it and see for yourself!

After finally getting 100% of the achievements for this game, I think it's safe to say I can give this a proper review.
Skyrim is honestly a masterpiece, easily in my top 5 games of all time now. Before playing I knew nothing of it other than it was highly rated amongst loads of people (and majority of my friends) so I thought for £7.49 on sale and only just finishing my last big game it was a no-brainer and once again, what a masterpiece.
There is just so much to do! Once you finish one quest, you suddenly have 3 more waiting to do without even realising. I really like how there is multiple different (I guess you could say combat) play-styles that you can choose from, found myself switching it up every now and then.
I don't even know what to say in this review, other than it's amazing! If I do ever do another playthrough (which is very likely), I think i'd install some mods to change the atmosphere of the game a bit, and try a different race, but for a first time, defo play "vanilla".
Overall, masterpiece of game, bethesda was in it's prime back when this released, and I highly recommend you play it too!

Pizza tower is a really fun singleplayer that anyone could pick up easily, but not many can master.
It may be a short experience but there is definitely replay-ability for people who really like the game.

Absolutely loved Days Gone, best singleplayer, open world game I have played in a while and easily my favourite game this year (Even though it released in 2019).

Been struggling for a while to find a decent singleplayer game for a while and when I stumbled across Days Gone, it was on sale and thought why not? So glad I did, but even at full price I recommend this game.

I loved everything from the beautiful scenery, to the brilliant story and to the thrilling gameplay of Days Gone. Story mode will roughly take you around 36 hours but even after you complete it there is plenty more to do, and its not like there's lame optional objectives to get you to 100% completion, each one is fun and challenging! There are enough difficulty options in the game to fit every players gamestyle so to say "its too easy" or "its too hard" is a lie, it is just you playing the wrong difficulty.

But yeah, do give it a go, I feel like this game deserves more recognition tbh.

I had been following the development progress of Choo-Choo Charles since it was first announced back in 2021, watching it grow slowly to the game it has become today has been quite interesting!

As for the game itself,
tl;dr: I really enjoyed it, but was a lot shorter than I hoped, managing to complete it all in 3 hours as well as 100%-ing the game in my first run. This therefore makes the £16.75 price tag a bit steep for what it is.

The game concept is amazing, having to navigate a map on a train you upgrade over time, completing quests for people as you progress through the map was very fun to do and overall a fun experience, however, the aspect that could be improved are how often you encounter Charles. Throughout my whole experience, I found him 3 times, once on foot (I died.) and the other times in train. The small train fights you have with him are fun but he can be defeated easily, never to be seen again for another 30 minutes. Didn't really feel like there was a constant threat while playing was all.

But like I say, overall I loved the game and cannot wait for future updates to come out!

Absolutely loved this game, loved it more than I originally anticipated. I thought, eh, the novelty will wear off fairly quick, yet here I am with 50 hours of game time and have fully completed the main story (yes, there is a story!). Overall it was a fun game to sit back and relax to, I remember when I bought this game it was around the exam season and this really helped remove some of the stress exams brought, so it will hold a dear place in my heart for a while.

So yeah, water gun go cleany cleany buy it and enjoy it!

I really love this game. The art style is beautiful and reminds me closely of Firewatch and the gameplay is great. But after about 5 hours of gameplay, or up until the point where you build the last extension on the cabin, you quickly realise that there isn't anything left to do. It quickly seems as though all of the content has dried up, you can continue to go out and explore and collect more flora and metal scraps, but for what? to craft a few decorations for the cabin? Some may find that more enjoyable than I did but I was just really disappointed to find out that this is all it had to offer, it could really have taken off if the devs didn't abandon it.

In conclusion, it genuinely is a fun little game to play for a short while and I only recommend picking it up when its on sale.

Satisfactory is simply amazing. There's nothing quite like spending hours and hours and constant redesigning of a factory just to make the process of manufacturing one item ever-so-slightly more efficient.

Update 29th November 2024: This game is still as amazing as when I first played it and has claimed its space at my most played game on steam
