For a free to play game, the grind is fairly substantial but not impossible. It isn't exactly a pay to win situation, as all weaponry has the possibility for a decent K/D spread depending on a player's skill level.

For what is offered? There are countless features, a plethora of upgrades, and introduces a new feeling to team work strategies as you take on a horde of enemies. It can feel a little "push and pull" or "back and forth" during gameplay but that is usually based on group dynamics, organization (or lack thereof), and the strategy currently being utilized.

It's a different feel. A different game than honestly anything out right now for a FPS game. Whether you're a casual player or someone dedicated to it, Planetside 2 is worth the download and play time.
