I believe the USP for this one would be a repeating scenario players face time after time: being left alone against the horde of enemies, having little to no ammo left, but a whole lot of responsibility to push through and survive to make the next wave happen - makes your heart race!

This game is condensed fun, it's challenging and satisfying and has a lot to offer for everyone.

It's balanced co-op on numerous maps offers multiple choices of strategy, perk levelling (there are also a few to fit individual preference) is dynamic and easy. After hundreds of hours of game-play I still enjoy it, primarily looking for the challenge on the "Hell on Earth" difficulty.

This game never gets old (and it indeed gets many updates and events through the year)!

This game's main task is to be beautiful - and it excels at it.

It's a truly relaxing, almost meditative experience. Level design guides you without patronising, thus making every step of the game sincerely enjoyable. Visual marvel with superb sound design and soundtrack, something everyone should enjoy.

Saying that this game is the best single-player video game I've ever played in my life is neither lie nor overestimation.

I played many RPGs for many years, for I enjoy a good story with a decent action. But from all the stories I like dark fairy tales, those which combine the best of my childhood dreams with expectations of an adult. Witcher 3 is that and even more.

As I played through the main story I realised how I underestimated the impact games can have on a player, for I never thought the storyline can be so engaging. The best part yet, I didn’t even notice I was so invested until the time of the final quest came. Because of the fabulously crafted quests you won’t see the hours fly by (more than a hundred of those) and every minute you’ll spend in the game will be an investment for the emotional and unexpected ending, which will be the crowning part of the whole gaming experience. Consequent DLCs offer additional flavour to that making game huge and diverse as it truly deserves – new miraculous stories with amazing references, new places to visit, new cultures of witcher universe to explore, and a possible new “happily ever after” ending in the “Blood and Wine” expansion.

Stunning and memorable soundtrack will accompany you on the path, as you immerse into the mysteries of Northern realms, hunt mythical beings, become involved in war brought by Nilfgaardian Empire, and try to accomplish Geralt’s personal goals.

Battle system offers a variety of approaches to deal with your numerous opponents – swords, secondary weapons, silver blade coating, oils, bombs, potions, magic, and even environment that will help you to stay alive. The choice is yours, and multiple armour sets with unique bonuses will help you in that decision. This game in general offers freedom of choice in almost everything, quest options included, so if you are not cautious about your actions you might not even notice the glorious comeback that will arrive one day you play the game. And oh, it will be a day to remember…

I think I should mention that this game is worth every penny, even though I believe at this point it goes without saying. Same applies to DLCs, with “Blood and Wine” being almost a standalone game (a damn good one) for a price of a DLC.

All in all, after I read all books and played all games of the series I can say with confidence that the story of Geralt of Rivia is one of the best fantasy stories I took part in (for there is no other way to put it) in my life. Sincerely wish you to enjoy it as well!
