Haven't played a better colony sim

Huh.. Maybe there is something i'm missing but this game has really poor execution for some rly cool ideas and concepts.

I won't explain what the game is about, you already know, mech combat, find new parts, learn bullprints, build cooler mechs, wow!!!

However, a collection of problems makes for a poor experience, these are:

1- The combat is really bad, on the first floors there is already very little reason to go melee instead of ranged, and just like samurai bringer, it gets worse the deeper you go, you die way too fast if you try to go melee, and the mechs on deeper levels are always flying away from you being very annoying keeping their disatance and the melee animations are very weird and slow so mowing them down with guns is pretty much always the best option, overall, this doesnt help much, because later on the game becomes a bullet hell and you take damage and lose your parts way too fast.

2- Because combat is trash and you take too much damage, its very easy to lose parts, but replacing them iis not so easy, because after the first level, enemies seem to almost never drop parts, and to even have a fully functioning mech you need at least 2, assuming the head does any damage, which most dont even tho, in fact, most of the starter mech heads are very uninteresting.

3- You could eventually get yourself a part and learn it, but the cost to analyze is so high that it becomes a chore to grind for it, and then try to grind for the part you want. Which invalidades the other parts of the game where you can pay for the upgrades like apps and OS tuning, etc.

Overall, really bad game thanks to how grindy it is. There seems to be so muhc content since i only have been to the third stage, and i've seen the cool new mechs over there, but they never drop anything for me, ever, and getting there alone with enough money and power to do anything is a chore in on itself. Samurai bringer was a rlly fun game but poorly balanced and with some flaws, Metal Bringer improves on the formula in pretty much every single way, but its awful unfun grind make for a much worse game. Ranged is on paper less op here than it is in samurai bringer, however, thanks to the enemy mech's ability to jsut fly forever running away from you, there is still no reason to go for melee.

Were it not for the bugs, this would be my favorite turn based tactics game. Its so rich in strategy and mechanics. And the adrenaline and dodge mechanic makes it so that you have to always be on the move. If only it were more polished.

I will change this review to negative if the roster completes and there is no capoeira character.

This game is good but the AI just not fun at all. Its like playing any fighting game against AI, you are either relying on rng on CPU reaction or you are trying to manipulate the AI.
Sadly it doesn't have online mode, but i suppose one can try steam remote or parsec, as i will.

Please give double freedom.

Cool game, too bad none plays it. It does have a "ranked" mode against bots tho. :'3
