The Orthodox Church is the ancient Church of Christ the living continuation of the faith and worship of the Apostles. It is one, holy, catholic, and apostolic, preserving the fullness of Christian truth through sacred tradition, Holy Scripture, and the grace of the Holy Spirit.

Today, over 200 million faithful belong to the Orthodox Church, found across Greek, Slavic, Middle Eastern, and many other lands united not by nation, but by faith and communion in Christ!

The word Orthodox comes from the Greek orthos (“right”) and doxa (“glory” or “belief”), meaning right belief or true worship. The Orthodox way of life centers on prayer, repentance, the Divine Liturgy, and the glorification of God in all things.

Orthodox Christians believe in the Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — one God in three divine Persons, uncreated and eternal.
Our salvation is found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who became man for our sake, was crucified, rose from the dead, and reigns in glory.
