I recently finished the first playthrough at around 8 hours and while that may not be enough to accurately review the game I'm gonna do it anyway.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game, from the music to the combat with my only real issue is walking from place to place.

So get it and be prepared for an experience.

So the game has been out for less than a week and I've already put in 53.4 hours and played despite all the bugs during this past week, (majority of which have been fixed), and as someone who has put in a few hours into Chivalry I've gotta say, this game is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun.

Shoot it till it dies, if it doesn't die then you haven't shot it enough.

I just finished the game a few minutes ago, it was an absolutely incredible experience, I'd had played it a few times before the final release getting to a bit before the halfway point on the final one. I had restarted the game once it had fully released and the wait and the restart was so worth it, the combat is interesting with plenty of enemy variety, areas to explore, quests to complete, basically everything you'd want in a pseudo-MMORPG. Not to mention that the story is honestly amazing in which its definitely better to experience yourself than just watch a playthrough of it or something, the characters are great with random banter while you're exploring Caves under lakes anyone?, the characters are genuinely interesting, especially the protagonist. The only downside to it is that its on the rather difficult side near the end-game, but that can be countered with a little bit of extra grinding, and "getting good" and was a nice change of pace as it shows how you've grown as a player, though some of the puzzles are kinda dickish, and that secret area on the mountain was total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (maybe I missed some dialogue?). Overall this is a fantastic experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend picking up at full price, because it will stick with you.

edit: They've added difficulty sliders for both combat and puzzle speed, so it's basically a perfect game now.

tl;dr: if you like puzzle-action-adventure games or it looks interesting, buy it, 100% worth it.

A great game that is no longer in development, as it stands it has the potential to entertain you for a few hours, I'd suggest getting it on sale due to the lack of content.

Get this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and get some friends together then proceed to laugh as you kill them over and over again (if they're krieg) just so they don't have enough money to go gambling.
