1.7 hours played, and 1.7 hours is all I need to make a decision.

Sadly, it seems that Creative Assembly has been in bed with SEGA too long to the point where everything becomes a micro transaction or a DLC cut from what should've been in the original game. This is a review for Kingdoms, so I digress.

Total War Battles: KINGDOM does not appear to be anything more than Creative Assembly's attempt at Game of War, or Clash of Clans (although this could viewed as an insult to these games). While their attempt is noble, these types of games are exclusive to mobile devices for a reason; I could play a much more fleshed out strategy game on my PC. If I want to play a game with busy work, it will be on my phone when I am waiting in between classes.

Creative Assembly revolutionized real time/turn based strategy gaming with the Total War franchise. My advice would be to stick to your niche and let the iOS devs stay in theirs.

By far my favorite zombie/survival themed game of all time. Feels more like "The Walking Dead" than the actual titled game itself.
