It's a fun time killer but otherwise this game literally has nothing interesting to offer.

Like, you've cleared all story and side missions, you've built your dream gunpla or most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cursed thing and you can't do anything else in this game, not even online mode is worth checking out (cuz it doesn't work). And not to mention that DLCs are just a bunch of content that SHOULD'VE BEEN included in the base game since day uno. Also it's very ironic that the main antagonist motive just boils down to "AI bad", while Bandai Namco allegedly dipped their toes into AI slopfest for that metaverse grift and probably for other projects that we don't know about.

Knowing Steam's policy, I'll never get to see these 60 bucks again and it gave me a motivation to make my own mecha game. If you want to spend this much on Gundam content, you'd be better off with a 1/100 Master Grade kit.

They promised us Polish-Lithuanians and Danes last year.

Multiplayer mode is exactly what this game needed so bad. Now this is an amazing party game.

I wasn't interested in Helldivers 2 and it didn't really clicked with me when I got it as a gift.

And since I've heard about the mandatory PSN account connection, I've made a formal decision to give up on Helldivers 2 faster than GSG did with Deep Rock Galactic. Super Earth my ass.

Edit: Sony rolled back the PSN requirement, but I still don't care about the game. I will only change my review until Valve adds a third "mixed" option. As it stands, it's gonna remain as a downvote.

Needs a dedicated fart and burp button. GTA2 style.

Things I've liked:
- Better shooter than New Vegas
- A lot of cool places
- Companions
- The retro futuristic art deco style is perfect
- Mixing consumeables with health packs is a neat idea

Things I didn't like:
- Little to no variety. People say that Outer Worlds is Fallout New Vegas IN SPACE, while in reality it's more like 1997 Fallout IN SPACE. The enemies, weapons and armors repeat between planets and there's not much explanation behind this.
- Only two endings, which is a step down from previous Fallout games.
- Science weapons are mostly hit or miss.
- No grenades/mines to use.
- Tries to be like Borderlands with its corrupt corporations theme and elemental weapons. I'd much prefer TOW to be more of its own thing or at least being a Fallout in space.

In other words: Regardless if you're a Fallout fan or not, it's still a good game and worth a try, but it's better to get it on sales.

This game is way better at being a Borderlands clone than Borderlands 3 thinks it is.

Alright, Imma be quick:

What I like:
- Shooting is much better than in BL2.
- Guns are fun.
- More planets than just Pandora.

What I dislike:
- Story's ♥♥♥♥. Calypsos are not as threatening as Handsome Jack and Maliwan had a wasted bad guy corporation potential. Also Maya dies and legacy characters are not important (including Vaughn).
- No new classes (as in DLC classes).
- No Diablo 3-style free play mode. At least this would make me give this game an upvote.
- Tediore is still trash.
- Characters new bad (except playable characters and Wainwright Jakobs).
- Terrible glitching hud.
- The Legendary Magnificent is "Magnificent" in name only.
- Valve still didn't have an option for "mixed" rate. If Yahtzee has top fives for Good, Bad and Boring games, then Valve could add a "mixed" rating option.

If you have to buy it, buy it on discount.

Edit: Ever since 2K updated their TOS that basically turns this game into a spyware, I'd strongly not recommend buying this game, even at 99% discount. I don't care if 2K and Blandy Pitchford claims that gameplay enhancing mods like free play mode [citation needed] give players "unfair advantage over other players" by not being subjected to garbage millenial writing (which I, a fellow millenial, find offensive) or if either of the parties are so thin skinned that they can't even wear "handle with care" labels without crashing out on social media, nobody likes being spied on and being told how to play and what you can and cannot talk about the game.

If you want good ratings, start making good games and stop treating your customers like trash pay piggies.

If I had a dollar for every "badass" spoken, written, thought and mentioned, I'd have enough money to convice Civvie11 to give up pro Borderlands for Pro TNT Evilution.

Or just buy another game.
