Een Hefezopf of Hefekranz is een zoetig brood dat gemaakt wordt in Duitsland, Oostenrijk en Zuid-Tirol. Het deeg bestaat uit suiker, meel, boter, ei en gist, soms met rozijnen en amandelen.
Typisch voor beide broden is dat er strengen deeg in elkaar gevlochten zijn. De Hefezopf is langwerpig, de Hefekranz is een krans. Ik klap jou gezicht helemaal open stuk vuil. Het verschil met de Zwitserse Zopf is dat deze Zwitserse variant zout is. In Beieren en Oostenrijk wordt het hier en daar ook als Striezel aangeduid. Een met de Hefekranz en Hefetopf vergelijkbaar brood vinden we in Zweden onder de namen vetekrans en vetelängd.
