Bleak sim 2018

I honestly haven't run into many games that truly impacted me with just the use of music alone, let alone music that I generally don't enjoy. From the first time hopping on the raft, the music of this game grabs you right by the feels and pulls you into the game.

I would play this game with or without the anime bewbs, and the nude.patch fixing the Barbie doll look was all the better, however the main part of this game which is the main part is the SHMUP aspect is still well done and challenging enough to keep you on your toes. Plus, bewbs... Definitely looking forward to and will likely purchase the DLC when it comes out as more of this game is only a good thing.

Honestly, I don't go out of my way to write reviews for games very often, however this game is incredible, think "The Stanley Parable" crossed with "Castlevania" you are an android that has a 2.5D environment to explore while a narrator and on screen arrows keep trying to tell you where you *should* go. There is freedom during the playthrough in this game, and there are tons of endings and "Dead Ends" where you will get kicked back to the level select to pick another path. One advantage to this mechanic is that you only have to jump back a few screens from wherever you reached your last ending before going back to try the other path or in some cases, one of the other paths. The narrator usually has some awareness of what you're doing and tries to seem genuinely helpful particularly in the "Toxic pool" ending but it kinda sticks it to games where it feels like you're just playing the hero because someone told you you're the hero, and instead makes you question the person telling you that those guys over there are bad because I said so.

tl;dr: If you liked The Stanley Parable and you can play decent at sidescrolling action games, you'll probably get a good bit of enjoyment out of this title, worth checking out.

This game, for as short as it was, was an extremely enjoyable experience, didn't 100% it on my first time through, so I'll probably be going back to see if I can do it faster or get 100%. Honestly love the fact that they did first person platforming so well when so many AAA games get it SOOOO wrong.
