LtK is wrong, Commando rapes. The Bullpup, if used correctly can be helpful in thinning a horde, or making careful picks. The perk's abilities uncover stalkers, but it also works against the Patriarch's cloaking ability, making it easier to track him down and finish the job. Also, the Commando reveals enemies' health, allowing for coordinated focus fire on weak or strong targets, depending on your priorities.

The Commando also allows the player to reload all weapons faster, which is just generally beneficial. ;)

Did some perk leveling today. Commando and Firebug were my only level 0 perks and I wanted to rid myself of that. I feel like sharing my findings and opinions of them.

Firebug: Seems like this is really a medium-long range support class more than anything. The flamethrower is too ranged to get anything far away but you want to avoid using it right infront of you since the fire can damage you too up close. ( Level 1 gives you 60% resistence to it though. ) Its really good for crowd control and can take down most weaker zombies in one puff. Its much different from TF2 pyro. All you really need to do is Tap mouse 1 to set a few zombies on fire and then just let them burn to death.
However, Firebugs aren't good against fleshpounds at all. It takes nearly an entire clip to down one, and that's letting them burn completely over and over. The only good thing is that you can set one on fire then deal with the other zombies around it.

Fire also seems to never aggro them as long as it isn't a constant stream of it.

Commando: Sucks. Don't bother using it for anything really. Bullpup is pretty much the worst weapon in the game and goes through ammo really quickly. As far as I'm concerned, its not worth wasting a decent class park JUST to see invisible things and do a little better with the worst weapon.
