In view of what is going on with the new Viking Conquest clans I feel like we, the Víkingr community, should set up a joint Viking Conquest clan and call it The Great Heathen Army . Of course we will also claim the exclusive right to represent our historical model. Any thoughts?

No, we will continue to play Víkingr and host events for Víkingr. Viking Conquest will probably have its own community and they will possibly emulate Víkingr in some parts. I for one intend to play the Viking Conquest single player, but I highly doubt that their multi player will be a contender.
