Uber Lag is not the server's problem but yours. You may need to reboot the computer, as it may have too many windows open at once.

@#Slapdose source has more to load than joining a regular server. a server may just have the normal mechanics and just be based on one level, or map, of the game - i.e., on TF2, the Doublecross Only server - meaning, less to load, but when you play with save files and stuff with offline practice, it loads all of the infromation. Besides, these games aren't really that new. They've had faster engines... but source is really the king.

i wonder why joining server through steam works better than launching a source based game (hldm, tf2 etc).. too bad that steam aint open source, fixing these things would be faster.

weed panda: had the same probs with all my valve source games after an update. I de- and reinstalled all of em and they worked again. (DoD 2 /TF2/ CS 2 and Garrys mod).

anyone else ever have any problems with loading a game?
i purchased TF2 and have logged 112 hours of play and now the game will not load... it used to..
every time i try to load the game it has to verify that i have paid for it, then it says verification complete, so i try to launch it again once its been verified and nothing changes...
ANY IDEAS???

yo xboom, if you wanna get in the rounds click "view current status of x members". if there´s a multiplayer going on and you got the game theres Join option. click that and you´ll get pawned like you wished ;)

gotta agree, noticed the same when i switched to MS. It just doesnt have the same accuracy and sweet little stuff that razer does.

Razer Deathadder or Microsoft IntelliExplorer 3.0. I use them in different computers. Razer is better for sniping. Microsoft is better for spying.
