Hmmm, just a for a note, server announcements are done at 30 min intervals OR whenever 4 new players have joined. But I think that's a decent suggestion, we'll try that out soon.

Can I make a suggestion for the server announcements? Is there any way to put the time that the announcement is made in it? That way, we can see if the server is near-full at 11.30pm and it's not an announcement from 4 hours earlier!

Guys we have an upcoming squad event in preparation for a possible joining with the Verdun League, as such I really need players to post on the "AU server Squad Lists" of their present squads if they usually play with a friend. So far we have 4 squads listed there, and if I remember I have seen about 2-3 more out there with high squad levels. Would appreciate if you could sign up :) to represent yourselves. It'll make it easier to organize the events.

Hello, as some of you might already know we have created a competitive league , the Verdun League, that will start in May. (See my announcement here: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/242860/discussions/0/611701999524587854/ ) The league is meant for both teams from EU and NA. But as I was asked already twice if teams fom your region could join as well I am willing to set up an Asia/Oceania division if there are enough teams. If you already have a team please get in touch with me. And maybe more teams can be created as well. So this is my offer. What you do with it is entirely up to you guys :)

Still, from 40 people we have now reached 110 people which is really good, as it is easier to bring in more people to play with. I'm seeing more and more full 32 player matches lately :D Continue inviting other AU server frequenters :) and pretty soon we'll be able to fully enjoy weekend matches without having to suffer ping playing in the US and EU servers.

Okay just abit of explanation. The group is supposed to be Open for the Public. Somewhere along the way someone changed the permissions and made it "Invite only". So for now, if you're spreading the word about VANZAC and getting people to join, you have to manual send invites to them now. All members could do it, not just officers :) I'll have to ask for the head admin if he could change this.

Another matter is that Moderators no longer have the permission to post announcements. This is bad since its supposed to be them who are able to "Announce" matches. Again, sometime last february, someone editted the permissions. That's the reason why the new moderators promoted by me lately, have not been able to do their job :( Again I'm trying to contact the head admin to change the permissions back to what it used to be. But some people say he's away at sea :(

There will be a pilot attempt to start battles in the AU server this coming Saturday (Mar 7) scheduled at 5pm AU time. I'd personally won't make it, but I've set it on our group events. I hope it'll be a modest success and would pave the way for making larger battles in the AU server more frequent.

Please comment if you see that my scheduling is wrong, as I might be wrong with the timezones.

Still looking for more volunteers to do some announcing :)
I'm often busy and since I'm 2 hours earlier on the timezone I often miss the peak hours on weekdays. So it would be nice if others could help :D

I'll volunteer to do some announcements

So we're slowly building up numbers in the AU server again. VANZAC group is somewhat working being able to attract 2-6 people upon announcements. Which is not bad.
In relation to this, we need more people openly announcing current games. So I'm looking for volunteers to do what I usually do, which is announce whenever a game is on in the server.

We could really use an active "hub" for announcing server activity or large games to players. I know of 2 other "AU groups" which have roughly the same or less member sizes. But they're not active as well.

I volunteer to do some "Game" announcements/invitation if you could make me a moderator (with the appropriate powers of course). I usually play everyday or every other day at 7pm-12pm AU time (even more on weekend). I am from Asia however. I'll see if I could also negotiate with the other groups and see if they could just move over here.

I'm lately seeing several players just shifting to US server with the currently low population :( we wan't to avoid that.

Is this group still active?
