Anyone has any idea where a beginner can learn how to do 3d modelling? I went to youtube before and can't really fully understand what they are doing,I already have autodesk lying idle.
Hopefully someone can show me a few good tutorials/tips on how to learn?

One resource I have found quite useful is this website: http://thenewboston.org/tutorials.php
There are a lot of really good tutorials here; mainly programing but it also covers 3Ds Max and the UDK both of which are used in game development. If you are a student you can get a free download of 3Ds Max here: http://students.autodesk.com/

If you don't have a program picked out Blender is a great jumping off point. It's very powerful, intuitive, has a wealth of free tutorials, and it's FREE. More info can be found here.
