There are a lot of really good tutorials here; mainly programing but it also covers 3Ds Max and the UDK both of which are used in game development. If you are a student you can get a free download of 3Ds Max here: http://students.autodesk.com/

Fantastic, mine wasn't but for anyone else intrested you should be given an option to enter the name of any school.
Here is a very useful video for 3ds Max users and hard surface modelling in general.
Also I would highly recommend following Millenias Shotgun Tutorial series. It's super useful.

Also I would suggest that you post your work regularly on forums such as Polycount, CGHub, NextGenHardSurface, etc. So you can receive criticism and learn how to improve.
