We had problems in the past of people joining the discord just to spam it. For some reason, having people ask for the link greatly decrease the amount of such people joining.

No. You just need to show up for the game sunday (and be able to join) if you want to take whatever is free. If you want a specific nation, then you need to post a comment on the signup thread, usually a week before a new game starts.

The mod we are using can be found in the pinned thread under the discussion tab on this forum. If you intend to join the game, it would be very helpfull to friend every other player in the game to do potential diplomacy in between sessions.

I have just joined the group, and I have a couple of questions.

What mod is being used and where could I download it?

Do I need to friend anyone in particular, and if so, who?

We are not using a third party program, but are playing through a direct IP (TCP) connection. This is supported by the base game, meaning that as long as you have the mod we use (with the correct checksum), you should be able to join our game by typing in the IP adress we hand out through the discord when we have sessions.

The game started last sunday (april 16), and will have its second session this sunday (april 23). Your are welcome to join as any nation not yet taken. Current year in game is 1847, so theres still plenty if game time.

I have a question about multiplayer. Is there anyway for me to play MP without the third party programs? Because I really dont want to have to use a third party program like Hamachi in order to play the MP side of things.

Anyways would like to do next campaign if possible. =3

NGF needs a new player, I cannot continue playing for a few weeks because of RL stuff taking up sunday evening.

Hey I am the japanese player i will need a sub this session and i need my sub to do the following:
-Unite my colonies in africa;
-Try to colonise Borneo and give it to the USA
-Try to colonise as much as possible(Even some islands in the pacific)
-Build a Huge fleet;
-And build lots of artillary im lacking that a little bit.

Looks like we are about to start, next Sunday 19:00 CEST will be the first session of the new campaign.
Make sure you checked the rules in the General Discussions and also enabled Beta Patch 3.04 and downloaded the PUIR mod (There is also a topic in the General Discussions).
