No - i think there was a thread about this. Basically once you get close to the true max you don't get any points for something that would put you over the max. So you inch closer and closer to the max while it only counts low-scoring items until you get too close for anything to count (due to high multiplier).

Thanks -- it took about 4 or 5 runs. Due to the way the score limit is it's really just luck once you get that close to the max.

What resolution do you play at? Try a lower res might be better.

Thanks D-Man. Vega, you don't pick a difficulty when you do survival. It is its own difficulty. I would guess it is between normal and hardcore. There is also no need to create a long mix for survival because it will just loop the entire folder you are in, infinitely (until you die), thus doing a whole album or whatever you have there.

well getting number 1 on the survival mode best time leaderboard is really not a big challenge.. alot of people could do it but no one really has the patience. just create a super long mix. Lets say, a 7hour mix, and just play it on easy mode..... pretty lame but if your good at the game, its a 100% chance of becoming rank 1.

Hmm that sure would be n impressive feat, and extra tricky because playing short songs or doing survival are much slower at gaining total points than doing long songs, so it would sure take a lot of playtime to be in the top on all of em!

I have a better challenge for you than reaching some ridiculous elite rank or amazing score. How about you try for top 10 in each section of the leader boards? I'm going for top 500 in each right now. I would really like to see a pro accomplish something that I would like to do but don't have the time to!
