So, as most of you know, ILE (developers of TQIT) were shut down in February of 2008. However, several of the old members, including medierra, the lead designer on TQ and IT, have formed a new company called CRATE Entertainment. This is a very small indie company of less than 10 members, however they've begun developing a new game.

The new game, as you may have guessed is called GRIM DAWN. It's a diablo-clone, like TQIT. Or maybe it's a Titan Quest- Clone, comparing the quality of TQ to Diablo... Anyway. It's an ARPG, and it's looking VERY nice. You can expect the same gameplay as TQIT, because Crate managed to get the old TQ engine from THQ and while it's the same engine, the game does not look the same.

I'd go on ranting about it, but it might be better if you just go look for yourself.

Seriously join though, you can preorder the game if you like to support Crate now while they're working in their basement living of nothing but saved up funds. You can also donate more money, if you'd like, and get a prepurchase, beta and/or alpha access as well as your name in the credits. Beyond the prepurchases, you can flat out donate to their game, to help it become the new TQIT and diablo 3 killer (haha), as well as help pay for potential expansion packs.

As you read, this group is for if you want to play a game with the Underlord mod. This group should make it easier to set up a game.

Sort of? I have set up an IRC channel on the server irc.gamesurge.net for all fanpatch/tqnetters to gather and shoot the breeze or talk modding, whatever. Hopefully it'll catch on, hopefully it wont' be a flop. :) If you're interested, grab an IRC client such as chatzilla for mozilla users, or hydrairc and connect!
